Angel Blessing (Family)
Angel of mercy, angel of light
watch over my family all through the night.
Keep us safe and keep us near,
give us hope no fighting here.
During the day watch over us too,
help us to know what we should do.
Always be there right by our side,
during a struggle to help us abide.
Always a guide to light up the heart,
help us stay close and never to part.
If there should happen to be a spat
help us to understand and solve that.
Keep us happy with each other,
help us to respect our Father and Mother.
Dear to each other and to be nice,
allow us to love without thinking twice.
Give us faith and give us hope
and help us all through bad times cope.
When we get angry help us to forgive,
let Christ's example show us how to live.
