A New Agreement
The Law of Moses had brought,
A promise of death we got;
And with being carved in stone,
Binding truth that stands alone.
But we are not drawn with ink,
And God gave us will to think;
Allowing us to stay the course,
Or having thoughts of remorse.
A new agreement through Christ,
Allowed Him be sacrificed;
To have a new lease on life,
Away from living in strife.
It's such a wonderful law,
That erases every flaw;
For it is greater than sin,
God agrees to cleanse within.
So we are transformed anew,
On a new path to pursue;
No more living life perplexed,
When we move into the next.
