The Reprieved
Who lost their way and all they had
Family and ties all gone how sad
Take for granted what God gave us
His love for man and you He trusts
But man forgets, given to them
A helping hand, not to condemn
Be kind to all He asks of all
You know not when you will befall
The same misfortune of life once lived
Could lay it's hand and not forgive
There is a need, this dying world
Empty of mercy where mankind curls
Into a ball ignoring cries
The need is great to save these lives
Reprieved were you when Christ cried out
" It is Finished " to Heaven shout
For by His blood He spilled for them
Reprieved are they, you condescend
"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven". Matthew v:3
