Where Dreams Have Gone
They flew by so quickly
Not a hint not a trace
A jumbling of the mind
Just a blank empty space
When you thought to hold on
Pictures weak as a thread
They slipped through your fingers
From your mind they had fled
No face to remember
No touch that you recall
Just blanks that can't be filled
While you stare at the wall
Bits and pieces of dreams
Unfinished that were lost
As mere seconds tick by
From your mind they've been tossed
Now wishing I could be
Where that all dreams have gone
Just to see what I've missed
As the world carries on
