:*:* : Awakenings :*:*
Tender flutterings felt in a virgin's breast
New awakenings shiver softly to attest
Roots of adolescence seek out space to grow
Stirred gently to follow urges of a sexual flow
A sweet young girl trembles as she sits alone
New emotions surface which has not been her own
Who will reassure her that it's just another phase?
In puberty's hands she must get through this maze
A woman-child looks for directions to find her way
Scared by this unknown invasion of passion's play
Answers are hard to find depending on where she looks
Often from friends she'll learn and perhaps from books
Ashamed to ask the reasons why she is completely confused
Her family may laugh or they may become quite amused
Be sure your teens become aware during these crucial stage
Do not allow peer pressure to turn up harmone's gauge

Note:
Our teenagers are pressured into situations
by peer pressure. Parents are unaware of what
they are going thru. Be sure there's an open
channel of communication between parents & teens!
Never be too busy to chat!
