What In The World Is Going On!What is going on in this world today, Everyday I read of another murder, another evil we can't keep at bay. I see all that horrible news on T.V. of robberies, and fatal crashes Wake up America! can't you see? The gas prices are out of sight, and our children go to sleep hungry at night. Some people say our economy is at its best, So why do they not see apart from their own nest. What in the world is happening to our country? The poor is getting restless it's scaring me. The rich turns up their nose, they don't care, They snicker as the hungry child stands and stare. Our son's and daughter's go off to war to fight, Some come home, while others fade from our sight. What in the world are we gonna do? When children shoot others because they have no clue. Brother against Brother Sister's gone astray, Mom's and Dad's don't always stay. Strangers stay strangers Friends do betray, We all hope for alittle sunshine along the way. Stop and smell the rose along the path, Sit down with your child and do the math.
