The signs are everywhere
They pop up here and there
Sometimes it is a short delay
Or even longer to our dismay
The signs give us instruction
Through the road construction
They tell us what we need to do
So traffic can flow smoother too
We can survive the cone zone
By a little planning on our own
Finding another route to take
Will help us avoid being late
All of us are under construction
We continue to need instruction
Our conscience is a voice inside
If we listen, it will be our guide
Your life may be in such a mess
That at times you could care less
There seems to be no answer in sight
What can you do to make things right?
A jackhammer has ripped you apart
Tearing away the core of your heart
You are lost not knowing what to do
A friend has turned their back on you
Put your complete trust in God today
He will heal your hurt and lead the way
Forgive your friend for that is the key
That is what God asks of you and me
Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
Being confident of this, that he who began
a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus.
An old song goes like this:
Kids under construction, maybe the paint is still wet
Kids under construction, the Lord may not be finished yet
