We've all been there in one way or another
At some point or another
…drowning in unexplained dark water;
Fighting to rise and catch that one breath of sky
 That seems to be beyond our reach

But does it really make a difference if
We were sinking in the same tarn or not?

We've all been there, in our own way;
Struggling, praying, hoping…
And utterly alone and lost

One's pain is no worse then that of another
The depths of the sorrows we've felt
May have birthed themselves in different places of shade
But in a way…it's all the same

One's hurt is not felt stronger
Because it came in through a different door
What makes us all so different-?
We've all drown before…
