When it is cold and miserable here,
I close my eyes and go elsewhere, no fear,
To a place of sunny days and balmy nights,
Where my head and heart can put the world to rights.
When I feel sad and more than a little down,
I close my eyes to try and stop the frown,
I go to a place where happiness reigns,
Where smiles and laughter never wanes.
I close my eyes when I want to be with you,
I go to a place that we loved and knew,
You hold and kiss me and everything`s fine,
A lovely place `cause there you`ll always be mine.
In winter with cold, wet and endless dark,
I need my heart to sing like a lark,
So I go to a place full of bright light,
That makes my heart soar and makes things feel right.
It`s great when your mind and spirit are free,
No one can tie you to one place you see,
You are free to go and be whatever,
To go to a place like this is rather clever.
