In Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John
You may think it is a contradiction
But the whole Bible is completely true
Each writer had a unique point of view
Matthew wrote about Jesus as king
Referring to the kingdom He brings
Mark wrote about Jesus as a servant
He was very passionate and observant
Luke wrote about Jesus as Son of Man
Being a doctor, he details God's plan
John wrote about Jesus as the Son of God
You see many miracles on the path He trod
If you have witnessed an accident site
Each person has a little different insight
They all present the facts as they occurred
But it is based on what they saw and heard
These four books were written in a span of time
Within a few years after Jesus' death we find
So the writers knew the events of God's Son
A different perspective was written by each one

For the word of the LORD is right and true;
