Whoooop's!!! Here we go!
Me meds are kicking in, oh yes!
Cos now am going woozy!
And me poor old heads a mess!
And I have to keep deleting stuff!
Cos me words are all gone mad!
Well, it's allowed cos this morphine…
Really is very potently bad!
But they work, oh yes, they do!
And they kill all my pain!
They even let me have a sleep,
Cos lack of it makes me insane!!
But I know how to sort it…
Every few nights, to get some peace;
I just take all my pain meds…
To give me some damn release!
But blimey I'm groggy and iffy…
Dizzy and right off me flippin' head,
I think it's just about the time,
That maybe I was in me bed?
But am feelin' so prolific,
And I want to stay up and write!
But am a-thinkin' quite serious now…
That I won't last the night!
Well let me see now, what's the time?
Ooooh, it's now well after midnight!
So aint that tomorrow already?
Yep! I think that I am right?
So I did it I guess…I think I did?
I think that I stayed up all night?
Good job that no-one can see me…
Cos am afraid I look a ruddy sight!
But ya know what? It's allowed,
Cos this pain of mine here's real bad!
Sometimes I guess I wallow in it…
And I think that's dead flippin' sad!
Cos am not a wimp, (that's Liverpool Scouse!)
And we're as tough as nails, yes sireeee!
Cos we play to win and not to lose!
Cos we're tough as old boots you see!
So roll over to the Mersey,
As far as the eye can see!
