It Won't Be Long

* a write I wrote for a lady at my church, her husband passed away this past Sunday. They had been married twice. *

It Won't Be Long

Farewell...
I think I knew you best
we was so different
so unlike the rest
won't never find someone
as generous, as true as you were
so I mourn under the willow tree
seperation anxiety now as occured
we were once the kings wasn't we?
now no more good times
as it was before

Sweet forever....
oh it's waiting for us to be together
now more than ever
I rely on faith's decree
you are now in front of Him
the one and only Majesty
save a place for me
I know the bell will ring soon
and when it does
a smile I wear
days will know no time
not morning, evening or noon

Heaven of tomorrow....
my Father's sweet caressing
you was mine in destiny
my beloved blessing
a beautiful river
with the angels singing
I have overcome this turmoil
and we have our own Eden
no conflict to give chase
in death finally together
finally safe....
