Childhood Memories

We all I feel go back to places
We knew as children then~
Mostly to find almost all has changed
Since our childhood way back when~
However many memories they remain
Deeply within ones mind~
All those special places to play and go
Within our memories we still can find~
They were then in many ways carefree days
And we all can think back to a time~
When there were no life complications
And we laughed and played games fine~
Back when little children they were safe
From the woes we know today~
Back when we were carefree children
And those many games we all would play~
I remember cowboys and Indians
And pretending to be a bravest knight~
Exploring through a patch of bushland
Pirates in a deep sea fight~
Building the highest tree house
Fishing , Calving things out of wood~
And of course back then we had our chores
And this helped us all to be good~
All those childhood memories
We carry them all deep within our mind~
I often think about them now and then
All those childhood memories we still can find #
