Time for Love.(M.P.Bridger)I decided it was time I fell in love. I decided on the girl And told my best friend all about it. Just to be awkward he said he loved her too. So we became rivals for her affections. Only trouble was She didn't know she was being loved And when my friend told her his heart's secret She didn't want to know either. Declaring my own feelings I got thesame response. We carried on trying to win her heart For six months without success. Perplexed, we gave up and returned to football. We decided we weren't ready to understand women And dad said I was mad to chase an older woman, She would only try and tie me down. I smilingly agreed with happy defeat.
