A Promise
Do not be afraid,
Do not be ashamed;
Just because you strayed,
Hear what's been proclaimed.
Don't be discouraged,
Of about your past;
Rather encouraged,
Of life ever last.
Leave the sinful you,
To when you were young;
Prepare to start anew,
As the joy be sung.
The Lord will embrace,
If you're coming back;
He will shed His grace,
Blessing what you lack.
But you are the one,
Who will have to start;
Accepting His Son,
Opening your heart.
