Up In The Southern Sky...
There's a star in the southern sky
Look up to your right,
It shines on us both like a beacon
In the night.
Distance is our enemy it holds
Us to different ways,
It makes up for a lot of long
Nights and lonely days.
But when the night comes and
Our star shines so bright,
I'll know your watching too
Making everything alright.
So when I look up into that
Southern sky,
I will see our star and
Sigh.
Our eyes watching the same
Bright star,
The distance between us doesn't
Seem so far.
For these reasons I can always
Rely,
On you seeing me in that
Southern sky.
