Heart Of The Matter
Counting Fingers, Counting Toes
The little boy,
How strong he grows,
Counting fingers,
Counting toes,
Moving on,
Through borrowed time,
He seeks the source,
Of love divine,
His dreams are placed,
Upon a shelf,
Until one day,
He finds himself,
Alone,
He comes to realise,
There are no castles,
In the skies,
His dream is now,
Reality,
A love, a wife,
A family,
The little boy,
How strong he grows,
Counting fingers,
Counting toes.
