I walk alone amongst the tall bodies of the trees.
No sound... but the whisk of the wind flowing through my knees.
Green leaves of laughter dance merrily so,
As each thin branch sways to and fro.
I reach a puddle beneath my toes,
And notice the reflection that nobody knows.
My lips separate from each other for words to flow out,
Yet my finger tips stretch my short hair as I silently shout.
I ask... I plea...
Yet nobody can hear me.
Thoughts... memories... swirl within my head,
For one day someone will understand what I said.
