Well what a shock, I can scarce believe;
What's happened to me today!
Cos I sent an e-mail to this star,
And now my resolves are under way!
I have a list of so many problems,
Oh heck, oh woe, oh woe is me!
So I sent an e-mail letter to this fella,
And this is what he said to me!
‘I will have your problems sorted,'
‘And I will send the blokes around to you,'
‘To fix the things that don't work too well,'
‘And they will do what they have to do!'
Then I sent to him another mail,
Cos my electrics are up the wall!
They keep shutting off and I go in the dark!
And I'm always giving them a call!
But no-one knows the problem,
And they all tell me that it's ok!
Not to worry, cos all is well…
Well to that, this is what I say;
‘If no-one knows the problems,'
‘As to why I plunge into the dark,'
‘Then how can they know it's all ok?'
‘When I may light up like a spark!'
Cos forgive me when I say this;
If no-one knows the score with this,
Then they won't know if it's safe or not?
And so electric life is hit and miss!
So like I say, I wrote this e-mail,
And this fella wrote me right back!
Told me all will be well and sorted,
And he won't take no flippin' flack!
Then I forgot about my door problem,
And so I mailed him once again!
Yep, I have to admit it lad,
I really am such a flippin' pain!
Then a short while after I mailed him,
This man turned up at my door,
Buzzed my intercom, I asked who it was,
And I nearly hit the floor!
In he came around at about 5.30pm;
And he had a little look to see,
Just what the problems were,
And oh golly gosh, oh gee!!
He fixed them all, just like that,
And I was so chuffed to say the least!
Cos now at night I don't need to worry,
And I can once more sleep in peace!
And all the other bits and bobs,
Will be sorted out; this star; Colin said!
And I'm not to worry, so I'm not!
At least I know my e-mails were read!!
And so now I wait in anticipation,
For my electrics to be sorted out!
Of I just may light up like a Christmas tree!
Of that there is no doubt!
When it's fixed my freezer won't defrost;
No more will I loose my food; again!
Cos I have to be quite honest here,
When it's melted, it's a right damn pain!
So to this fella called; Colin W!
I humbly say my thanks to you!
Cos you dear lad, are a little star!
That's why this little ode's for you!
