Hollywood Son

Hollywood Son

Young, strong beautiful one
we embraced you so much
gone too quickly
let the flowers and candles
carry us.....
your vices, your slander
we made the message clear
with red stained banners
oh wasn't you amazing
the sad end so telling

Warning signs sung so loudly
until your last breath...last word
you was just a child in so many ways
would saying no been so absurd?
We are tempted
by all the sins we can afford
it was always and will be your choices
that can take you overboard
you was just one of us
now you lay still on the floor

Sunset Boulverad
pass the speeding cars
you collapsed
nothing short of a tragedy
a life just like mine
you could have had
a life full of wonderful memories
could have been seen through your eyes
you was just one of us
you didn't have to die

the star fell down
with your name attached
potential are ashes
just to top the tall stack
of what could have been
the vulture of white claims another
now who will break the news
to your mother?
