HE ISN'T THE MAN

He's not the man
You thought he was
Can't understand
Because

He shares his space with another lady
Saying he's all mine is all shady
He makes her the special one
Going to her home when day is done

Sleeping there listening to her snore
Both behind the same house door
And it doesn't matter if she's in her own bed
What matters is to the hurt I'm lead

When you go home to her
When things go on as they were
Year after year
Tear after tear

He isn't the man you thought he was
Let him have Marie because:

You don't need the stress
Trying to out guess
What he's doing there
Lives with her while he won't share

The same with you
The blames on you
You will put to rest
He isn't that man you thought was best.
