A Future Foreseen

The words that I speak are straight from the heart,
So know that in any way that it may seem this cannot be torn apart.
With the strength that I felt from the moment you spoke,
I had to keep talking otherwise I might've choked.

But your words did not fear me any harm or dismay,
You made it clear that I did not know you until that very day.
You didn't hold back, even pointed out flaws,
In return I kept it real & then had you in Ahhh.

I accepted the feeling that I felt from your spirit,
I'd been calling out to you although you just didn't hear it.
In time the day came to pass when all was set in stone,
I welcomed you into your home for in life this was your throne.

Your presence was foreseen & felt prior to present days,
I held onto the feeling that you would know your place.
Within that I was righteous and obligated to remain true,
All this devotion because I saw the inner beauty in you.

Many nights passed that I saw you faceless in my dreams,
Once I encountered your spirit I found out what it means.
To be my heart & soul to soothe a wound that aches,
I had one stipulation that it wouldn't be my heart that would break.

Not only did you honor me you made me see through a new light,
To see that all was meant to be & there was no need for me to fight.
Which is why I now stand before you here as your wife,
This is something that we will endure together for the rest of our life…
