A Personal Request

My wish for today,
Is that you have a smile upon your face.

These words that you read,
I hope you do embrace.

The words that you speak are sincere,
And always kind.

Sometimes hearing a righteous voice,
Helps to ease the mind.

The trials of life,
That lead us here to this day.

"Believe in & love yourself,"
this is a quote that you say.

To be blessed with a listening ear,
& even the helping hand.

to extend a voice of reason,
to spirits who have fallen in quick sand.

you guide them out; help set them free & this is what I say:
"Thank you, Lord for blessing the world especially on this day.

As you give to us a special gift,
One of your children that helps spirits lift.

So lets raise about & toast a cheer
To let everyone know your birthday's here!"
