A Ray of Sunshine

You are as bright as the sun on the most beautiful day,
It was you that I searched for and every night that I prayed.

To bring you safely into my arms without harm or disarray,
Some wrong turns were made in life but, we have both found our way.

Thus OUR love is undeniable, passionate and rare,
This is something that fills us up for which we both do share.

With in the comfort of our bodies we fit together like the water does with sand,
Our bodies sculpted together a perfect fit hand in hand.

This is a dream come true that cannot be torn apart,
You are the only MAN that could ever live in my heart.

When I was younger, I was foolish to believe that you weren't there,
This is why at times you catch me; when I stop and tend to stare.

Your wisdom is enlightening and your strength is unique,
John, you picked me up and placed me on my feet.

With your kindness you made me see that all was not lost in thee,
For all your efforts, patience & love I give unto you: ME.

The love of a woman who has the Visions of Life,
You saw it for yourself, thus now I am your wife.

I thank the Lord for our blessings as they will continue to come,
Even when we aren't always sure where they are from.

I love you now, then forever & definitely always,
I'll love you ‘til the end upon my final days...
