" Katherine's Prayer "
All of my life I prayed for one thing that when,
I found that special someone he'd know what he means.
That there is no greater love that I would ever give,
Unless it is to this one man for which I now do live.
For each & every day I love this man even more,
More than I ever thought right down to the core.
I know that he's not perfect dear Lord, neither am I,
But when I look at him I can't see beyond my eye.
I love this man through & through,
This is why I break down and cry.
Because no matter what I do or say,
He just won't believe & that's why I pray:
Dear Lord, I pray to help us in our day,
Even upon the days when it seems we've lost our way.
Let this man find his way home,
Help him to understand that I am here he's not alone.
God, you've forgiven me now have him to forgive himself,
For all the wrongs we can't make right for all that in it self.
I love him more than he'll ever know,
This is something that I'll always show.
God, I thank you for all that's good
& I'll stand by my man like a good wife should…
