<*>*> The Holy Fool <*>*>
It is said there is a holy fool born into every generation
Speaking wisdom beyond his years through very simple diction
Those who see him are not aware by the manner of his dress
But when his words roll off the tongue, folks become impressed
Perchance you've met a few on this earth's busy trails
I have kept my eye out for one looking closely for details
It seems to me that God disguises him in the robes of the unfortunate
For he appear always to be humble and is very compassionate
He dares to speak what we have guarded in the recess of our minds
Innocently bringing to the surface various thoughts of perplexed kinds
The Holy Fool may be among those folks who have been deprived
Or he may be a neighbor's friend who has barely survived
In any case the Holy Fool cross our paths with laughter & a smile
He make the world a better place for us to live a while
