 ramblings and things

He said he’d swum with Whales
Told us with such delight
You could see the joy in his face
That last Friday night
And he talked about His life
And his love of the sea
How when he was on board
He felt so complete and free
And I remember him laughing
I remember nearly all he said
But I never ever saw him again
Just heard how they’d found him dead
A young man with problems
But I remember that last Friday night
He said he’d swum with Whales
And I shared his sheer delight
