 Heart Trouble.(M.P.Bridger)

I have this night regained my sight
Of things that weren't to be.
I took my chance and joined the dance
Of love's great symphony.
For this sweet girl made my heart whirl
With love's outrageous dream,
Though listen well,it's hard to tell
If things are as they seem.
For by the time I wrote this rhyme
Her heart had turned to stone,
It's all a game,she told me plain
Her love was just on loan.
This attitude of solitude
Now fits me like a glove.
My heart's gone west so all the best
To those who find true love.
