 Don't Go

In a second the world is going to turn,
Turn into a dust beneath my feet.
I cannot describe the feeling of the burn,
And the emotions of defeat.

I have no ground to stand upon,
And my head is swirling around.
I'm nervous of the ideas he's thinking on,
For he makes no sound.

I understand that I was wrong,
In every sort of way.
My heart... my soul drowns so long,
And I cannot take those words away.

I desire to look into his eyes,
And tell him how much I love him so.
He thinks my words are all lies,
So I keep silent, for the truth he will never know.

I have no ground to stand upon,
And my heart is hurting so.
Oh please do not move on,
For I cannot bare to see you go.
