Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Locked up

Every night, it's the same thing.

One silent tear escapes my eyes and I'm

Looking out the only window in the room,

Bars casting shade on the ground as the

Moonlight curses me with a glow I can't shake.

The keyhole stares at me with embitterment,

And I think I hear someone walking by,

But I've been hearing things since I got here.

He gave me his heart, his promise, his word.

But he took it all back for someone who's

Mouth could smile prettier than mine.

So I took it all back,

His heart (taken from his chest),

His promise (scouts honor, he lost several fingers),

His word (I bet he misses his tongue).

So it's no wonder how I ended up here.
