As a wave of curiosity spins thru the web,
it brings along with it many strangers ahead.
With just one click they're in a chat room,
they long to have a special friend so very soon.
When she enters much to her surprise,
she has her pick of so many guys.
In school she's not at all popular she snips,
but here it's all at her fingertips.
She hears the sweet sound of a chime,
hello there:could you use a friend is his line.
A smile lights up her face with pride,
i'm so glad i came inside.
He cleverly says:you're so sweet and who might you be,
she replies:my name is Pammy Sue you're so nice to talk with me.
Well hi there Pammy Sue,
so very glad to meet you.
They talk for hours and she feels no longer alone,
gee i'd like to meet you in person he says and come to your home.
Where do you live maybe i could stop by,
i'll understand if maybe you're too shy.
Oh no she says with a grin,
i live in Twin Peaks Michigan.
On weekends i'm always at the park on Main Street,
that's a good place we could meet.
Her mother came home from working late friday night,
Pammy Sue was nowhere in sight.
A knock at the door she wondered who could that be,
a policeman said you need to come with me.
A neighbor saw Pammy Sue in the park with some boy and didn't hesitate,
she felt that we should indeed investigate.
Till we got there nobody was around,
just one lone sneaker had been found.
The mother gasped oh my that's her favorite pair,
she wears those shoes everywhere.
A search party right then was formed,
they found Pammy Sue's body with her clothes all ragged and torn.
Stripped of her innocence and left there to die,
this young sweet child so still did lie.
All at the hands of a demon who preys on a whim,
on the naive that put their trust in him!

Parents at all times know what your kids are doing online,
the internet can be such a scary place within that little box of space.
Even if they're old enough to be left alone in the house,
they're still too trusting with the click of a mouse..............
