So my son Joe came back to see me today,
Because my PC went totally insane!
In a puff of smoke, it blew right up!
Never to work, not ever again!
So he tried to fix the thing,
But it had gone totally wild and mad!
So much so, I have to admit,
It made me really sad!
Because my bone of contention is my lifeline,
When it's solace that I seek!
For I hit the keys at alarming speed,
And its havoc that I so wreak!!
And I couldn't afford to replace it,
So I didn't know what I would do!
So along came my son Joe once more,
And his magic once more came through!
For he fixed it, well not to perfection,
Cos it's as knackered as can be!
But as long as I can type out my pain,
Then that will more than do for me!!!
For my words are; once more my solace!
And it's writing that I seek!
For at times of pain at this level,
Its havoc that I need to wreak!!!
So once again I can write out my pain,
To help me get through another day!
And hope against hope this PC holds out!
As long as it does, then I'm ok!
But it's as old as the hills, oh yes,
As knackered as knackered can be!
But the way that is it, is the way that it is,
And so this will have to do for me!!
