Greener

If the grass is greener on the other side
It's because the caregiver has taken more pride
He doesn't look to the left or the right
But pays more attention to what's in his sight
Believing " if the other side is greener than mine
I just have to put in more love and more time"
This is what I chose; it was good enough before
Maybe I just need to nurture it more
And when he has done the best that he could do
He gloats because he has reason to
Is the grass over there as green as it seems to be
Or will you be on the other side before you are able to see
That your grass was greener all along
But it's too late because your grass is gone
