do you hear what i hear?
can you feel what i feel?
can you smell what i smell?
This painting has a song that goes with it you can't hear
but those who can hear it dont get the painting
this song has a painting that goes with it, but those who see the painting
don't get the song
food for thought?
Do you see what i see?

Can you feel what i feel?
can you taste what i taste?
This is a sanctuary for the blind
a place where anyone who can see will seem lost and out of sorts
This is a sanctuary for the deaf
a place where anyone who can hear
will seem confused and out of place
a place where the lack of the sense will be home
a sanctuary, where your other senses are heightened
if only you would close your eyes
would you understand
if only you would plug your ears would you know
do you hear what i hear?

its maccabre yet beautifull
if only you knew
if only you understood
this poem could be like painting
that painting like apoem
that song like a sight you dont comprehend just yet
and those sights like sounds you dont quite hear

something that those who think they arent missing out
become jealous when the pieces click
and they see it
and they hear it
and then they know what we know
and we're on the same page
and like a walk in painting created by the gods
an experiment of emotion and color
we are the art
we are the poem
we are the picture
(If the internet was built for the blind, the cursor would speak over everylink, it would say poet ontop of poet, forward on top of foward, back ontop of back, there would be popup songs, and the right button would be configured to stop an unwanted soundwave, the left to play another
and as they moved their cursor over the screen they cant see the voices would guide them, the deaf can see so they have art, but the blind could have music and poetry read outloud, and a whole device worked out for them so they can actually interact with something at home or wherever and enjoy their wexperience and the world around them can create the internet for them, with sound waves for them to enjoy, like click here to hear a poem about death would be the sound wave that would play over a poets picture when the cursor was overtop of it....society does literally nothing for the blind...The internet should be reconfigured to be a form of entertainm,ent for the blind, those who can see have books and art, those who can hear and see have movies and television, tyhe internet could be a bvreakthrough for the blind to interact with the world around them)
