We often let Satan rob our joy and peace.
We are overcome by the lure of adversity and crime.
Our love of brother slowly diminishes, starts to decrease
and we become victims with the passing of time.
We lose our perspective and feel the anguish of disgrace.
The heart of a Christian should sing with humility and love.
Yet we dwell in sin and pleasure; try to hide our face.
We take the risk of losing our place in heaven up above.
Would it not be a simpler life if we turned over all control?
Could we not just live our life as it was once intended?
Why do we compromise and negate our eternal soul?
One day it might be too late; the contract may be rescinded.
