 Going Through My Yearbook

Going Through My yearbook

Going through my yearbook
From thirty years ago
Remembering all the people
That I used to know
I wonder what they're doing
Or are they still alive
I wonder what they look like
How many have survived

I look at all the pictures
How stupid we all looked
The girls with their hairdo's
The guys thought they were cool
How many are successful
And reached their lifetime dreams
Those days were long ago
At least it seems to me

The friends I used to have
No longer do I see
I think it's such a shame
But some may disagree
I remember all the fun
That I used to have
I think of all the memories
It makes me feels so sad

The times have changed since then
I feel it's gotten worse
We seemed to lose our morals
They passed by in a hearse
How many believe in God
And live for Jesus Christ
I hope that I will see them
Up there in Paradise

Going through my yearbook
I think back to the days
We all looked so young
But had so much to say
We thought about our future
And what we'd end up like
But how many of us
Believe in Jesus Christ

Back then I didn't witness
I was too afraid
I thought it wasn't cool
To tell them that I prayed
But as I've gotten older
There's something I would change
I'd share of God's great message
Of how they can be saved

Going through my yearbook
I pray for everyone
I look at all the pictures
And think of God's own son
He came to earth to die
For those faces that I see
I hope they've heard the message
I hope they all are free
