Azare
if i were a poet
if i were a poet
and mother poetry say
i should not groan
for the underdog
i will resign my part
if iwere a poet
and father poetry say
i should not help
his sons and daughters
i will dissolve my heritage
the underdog is as true
as a virgin land; as true
and moving like nature;
as open as the horizon
but has no voice...
and mother poetry say
i should not groan
for the underdog
i will resign my part
if iwere a poet
and father poetry say
i should not help
his sons and daughters
i will dissolve my heritage
the underdog is as true
as a virgin land; as true
and moving like nature;
as open as the horizon
but has no voice...
