Words
Kind words are like honey,
Turning the day sunny;
They help to bring good cheer,
To ease tension and fear.
They keep you feeling strong,
Endurances prolong;
When someone is sincere,
Helps you to persevere.
But sometimes what seems right,
Deceiving looking bright;
Is just a dead end road,
Far from Heaven's abode.
Words can burn as a fire,
In jealous desire;
That will leave a bad taste,
As one may be disgraced.
Tis mightier than the sword,
In speaking any word;
Look what God did invoke,
In six days as He spoke.
