For Timothy And Doris
You met her on the dance floor-
this lovely little girl.
She fluttered her lashes
and put you in a swirl!
You met him on the dance floor-
this tall and luscious man.
He sparked up your senses
when he reached to hold your hand!
And then you kept on meeting-
it was out of your control.
The time-it was electric-
a power-surge so bold!
You smiled at her sweetness-
her cute and funny ways.
She quickly had you smitten-
and put you in a daze!
You smiled at his frankness-
his clever, thoughtful words.
He quickly zapped you with his eyes-
your heart-he sweetly stirred!
One day he popped the question-
you were electrified.
In every single cell you felt
a surge of love and pride!
She stood and smiled her special smile-
you knew it was a 'YES'
She made you want to shout for joy-
this girl- she was the best!
So now you stand together-
becoming man and wife.
Just keep the spark and sizzle
as you dance in love-through life!
