 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

Wards of This Earth

Children who are under age,
Naive through a growing stage;
Not better off than a slave,
No perception of the grave.

For all that their parents own,
With inheriting their throne;
Knowing when they pass away,
That it will be theirs someday.

Children are placed into care,
Until their parents declare;
When determined to be just,
To put it into their trust.

As with us been given birth,
Ruled by powers of this earth;
Until the time God feels it right,
Inheriting of His might.

You are no longer a slave,
To sin as well as the grave;
Because of what Christ has done,
You are considered a son.
