So many times, in life, we accept the terms that are handed to us, we walk in the directions of our peers, our forefathers, not giving ourselves a second thought about if that laid out direction is right for us, we often say NO! to opportunities that may be beneficial to us, because of our peers, our forefathers, or our society. Our lives are made with a vast amount of directions, we must seek all our lives, seek the right direction, no matter where it may lead us, no matter if in the opposite direction of our peers and forefathers, no matter if it is not the direction that you are comfortable with, meaning, work is very much in the future, we must tarry on, in life, in the direction, that will full fill our goals in life, and not just accept what is given to us, by our peers, our forefathers, and our society, we must start with baby steps, use caution, then like the wild eagle, spread our wings and fly into our destiny, which is our goal.
How do we welcome home our lost brothers and sisters? By running out to them, embracing them, and kissing them. By clothing them with the best clothes we have and making them our honored guests. By offering them the best food and inviting friends and family for a party. And, most important of all, by not asking for excuses or explanations, only showing our immense joy that they are with us again. (See Luke 15:20-24).
That is being perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect. It is forgiving from the heart without a trace of self-righteousness, recrimination, or even curiosity. The past is wiped out. What counts is the here and now, where all that fills our hearts is gratitude for the homecoming of our brothers and sisters.
wow! this is a strong message, it really makes sense, only if everyone would live like this, it would be the perfect place to be. We let too many other things control us, holding grudges, time, money, being inpatient, restlessness, being bored, nerves, excuses, and sometimes its those excuses that blind us from being genuinely forgiven, or being able to genuinely forgive...
Many times in our lives,
we are dropped, crumpled, and ground
into the dirt
by the decisions we
make and
the circumstances that come
our way.
We feel as though we are
worthless.
But no matter what has
happened or
what will happen, you
will never lose your value.
Dirty or
clean, crumpled or finely creased,
you are still
priceless to those who DO LOVE you.
The worth of our
lives comes not in what we do or who we know, < B>
but by WHO WE ARE and
WHOSE WE ARE.
You are
special
-
Don't EVER forget it."
If you do not pass
this on, you may never know the
lives it touches, the
hurting hearts it speaks to,
or the hope that it
can bring.
Count your blessings,
not your problems.
"And remember:
amateurs built the ark ..
professionals
built the Titanic.
If God brings you to
it - He will bring you through it!
