Praises Be To Jesus for Ultimate Freedom
Today in the year of our Lord on July 4, 2007
I want to exalt the one that gave us true freedom
Freedom from pain and sorrow from the wicked one
Freedom from death to stand steadfast and overcome
America the most blessed nation in which to be born
Freedom of speech and to read God's word to pass along
Many nations are still under satan's bondage
For they are ruled by evil and carnal knowledge
We as Americans take so much for granted
That God sent His son for freedom and liberty He had planned it
Not just for this nation but we are the most blessed
We can read the word and even speak it without being arrested
God bless the men and women that have made a sacrifice
But also praise the one that gave us freedom of life
So many are imprisoned if they even speak His name
We are a blessed nation and today I must proclaim
For the blood of Jesus Christ saved us from our own demise
For many walk around today giving thought to satan's lies
Let us exalt the one that truly deserves the praise
Praise you Jesus for your love, mercy and abundant grace
We are America the home of the brave
You Lord enabled us to conquer the grave
So that all mankind would live if only they believe
God bless America Lord and may it forever be the land of the free
But let us not stop there for we are a nation that cares
Let us pray for other nations that suffer in despair
Let us continue to help set the captives free
Let us forever remember the price for victory
