Absent Minded
How to write an excellent poem
a true poet knows when and how to use guess work,
it takes years of practice
to master foreshadowing
and how to manipulate the aspect of the way
the mind works with mystery
and when to work it and the usage of big words
so children get one message
and those who understand the entire piece another,
each poem should contain several intricately woven messages,
no poem shpould be a solid piece of work
it should be woven by the fabrics of several strings
and those above mentioned are a few methods to weave a poem
the poets of years before would search for weeks
for the perfect words
big words
small words,
perfect meatphors and similies,
and now our teachers who teach us poetry think they know
what they are doing and they havent a clue.....
take several messages,,
at least four,
put one in big words only the educated will understand,
one in small words for children,
one in metaphor like a riddle to be uncovered,
and on in another poetic tool,
now that youve done that take your works(What i just told you to brainstorm)
hopefully they have themes that work together, and now weave!!!!
