Respect the Laws of the Land

We are strangers here on this earth,
Foreigners of a distant land;
Even though here where given birth,
We must be firm from where we stand.

So I beg you not to give in,
To fleshy earthly desires;
That leads you to a life of sin,
Igniting the burning fires.

Be set as a good role model,
Behaving as others should see;
Walk upright and do not dawdle,
Just as Jesus would have you be.

Then in coming to Judgment Day,
As others go to honor God;
They can tell Him while they say,
In not seeing your life as flawed.

The Lord wants you to obey all,
Of each and every single rule;
Respecting nations of each law,
God does not want you as a fool.
