Absent Minded
God and mans plan
God came to earth to say
I'm her and this is the way
but mankind was afraid
that this would be the end of their free will
or perhaps all of their days
so they threw him away
for everything he was
and god claimed
he would never come back by any name
no matter a rose or any other name
they didnt want him
even if the future the past did blame
his hands he would wash clean
and he cried and cried and cried
a world he had created that threw him away
stuck on some saviour
his son he had cherished
and he was forgotten
the world should have been there for him
but it wasn't so god decided to move on
and never eturn
so mankind thought they had won
that they could live and die and enter heaven and fight over
god's creations forever
but Jesus knew that if god dod not like mankind
he would not allow any of them into heaven
no matter how much he loved them
but Jesus could return
Man wanted a free will and to do whatever they wanted
and when god came to visit unknown to man
no hidden agenda just a visit
to live the life he had always dreamed
mankind threw him away
so he swore to never return
to shut the gates on heaven on all of them
to throw mankind out of heaven and start afresh in creation until
they learned to repsect him and his power
for the tears and blood he had created whicxh was shed
but mankind wanted a free will to do as they pleased
and god cried and cried
for them to accept them
and walked away
to never be seen by any of them in heaven or earth
or hell
but his will would be done
he would haunt them for an eternity for what had happened to him on earth
for the nonexistant crimescene to serve theiur sentence before he returned as their king
A prophecy was written long ago
and mankind was forewarned this planet was to be visited by their maker
and man came up with aplan
and the ultimatums were never known
just rumors around the block
of what he was and you know how people talk
and then god realised whoa nd what he was
and decided
the angels treated him better
the demons were more sincere
and mankind was a mistake
but he needed to do the right thing
sop being the collector that he was god decided to find
the love of his life of mankind
no matter the pain and bring him to to the other worlds and make his lover a god
and wash their hanbds clean
mankind threw god away
he was here in disguises no one knew
many times and no matter what god did
no matter who he was the world treated him like dirt
and finally god gave up
shut the doors of heaven
and kicked all of the humans out of heaven and now this planet is truly haunted
until one day we learn to forgive the past and appease god for what he wants
to treat him properly
to love and cherish eachother
as above so below
but if god is cursed
and we are created in gods image
what does that say about the angles
the demons god
and us?
we treated him poorly even if he was in a n obvious disguises
living three perfect lives simultaneously
hew will never be backj and mans kind plan was either succesfull or failed
sure they still have their free will god had already granted them
but they ghad treated him like dirt
and the gates to heaven are closed to us people forever
and sure jesus showed us the road to everlasting life
but its a lonely world
and tortured souls we are
and only god is capable of the love we are in need of
and the truth he could tell
he never will
but oh well says mankind we laways loved a mystery
and god says im never coming back
you can have jesus if he wants you that bad
but i give up
and the only way to heaven is through him
perhaps one at a time
i will forever be emberassed never forgiver myself for creating you
and sit in solitude in the love of my angels
