 Little Doug
I thought of you today
You'd be coming home
You lived so far away
Surely you'd be ready to roam
An angel came for you
You quietly went with her
We all miss you it's true
But she said it was you she preferred
Little Doug, Oh Little Doug
Remember the tall tree with the swing
Wish I could give you a great big hug
Many memories from childhood I bring
Playing baseball
Hide and seek
Games we'd play you'd make the call
We would play seven days a week
You being older
Took charge and would lead
We'd lean on your shoulders
You were always in full speed
Our one and only brother
We thought you were strong
You were like no other
We didn't know you'd be gone before long
Always protecting your sisters
Doing more than your share
As we became teens, you would critique our misters
Watching over us with brotherly care
Now that you're gone, hope you're fine
I can see that winning smile
You're there keeping everyone in line
Rest we'll see you in a while

*You will always be our Little Doug.
I'm sending you a great big hug. Suddenly passed away
October 18, 2006. Douglas named after my father.
