Starving
crying out for another's remorse,
begging for someone's, anyone's mercy,
seeing is not always believing,
leaving me lonely, hungry and thirsty.
thirsting for the drink of human life,
starving for the love of another,
wishing for a loved one back,
wishing for a brother.
hating what you and i've become,
determing what we will be,
knowing my vote won't matter at all,
you're loving a replacement of me.
