Ok so I had a word with God once again!
And told Him I'm fed up!
I don't mind me milk bottle being half full!
But He's overflowing me cup!
So I said to Him, I did!
‘God, what on earth is your game?
Cos every time I fight a fight!
You throw me a fight again!
So can you please stop this!
And give me a bit of a break!
Cos I have to be honest here my God!
Me sanity's all at stake!
And while you're at it, ‘scuse me!
Can you cut me that bit of slack I desire!
Cos time after time, you test me!
And now me life is in the mire!
So God, are ye listening to me then?
Are ye gona cut me this slack or what!
Cos if not, I have to tell you true!
If I was a horse then I'd be shot!
And I know that you are inundated!
With people and their plights!
But can you please send me some intervention!
And help me sleep at nights!!!'
So I lay and looked to the light shade,
Where my God sits most every night!
And there I am, calling Him!
To come and ease me plight!
And I lay and stare to the ceiling,
Hoping one day He won't fall out!
Cos that light shade ain't very strong ye know!
Of that there is no doubt!
And up to now He ain't answered!
But when He has time, there He'll be!
Looking down from the light shade!
And sending His strength to me!
