Yesterday Little Girl, Today Now His Bride

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The date you both set and all would soon know
That time had now come, for us to let go
On Sunday the 12th, your life would know change
Flowers, cake and a guest list all you have arranged

Your family and friends would see you today
But not you the daughter who leaves us this day
An empty room you once called home
Inside of our house, you called your own

The good times we've had, your laughter will too
Faded Kodak moments will help get us through
Each day that will pass, our hearts will now bare
Wife his once a baby, we now have to share

Toddler for a time, juvenile for some years
Young lady a knockout a dads greatest fear
Where scrapes and bruises once made you cry
Today more than many will shed tears and a sigh

It's not due to sadness, but your happiness
For you so deserve the best and no less
As God made Rene for Anixa Thats you
To exchange sacred vows, ending in and I do

I wish you love for Ten thousand years
As my heart tells my eyes to hold back the tears
For love is GODS gift to share with someone
Endless and forever, never coming undone

So from here on, I'll have to adjust
To know in his hands I now have to trust
Treasure, priceless,  God gave us and blessed
It's you I call daughter in your white wedding dress
