Race against Sin
There is such a large crowd,
And getting much too loud;
In being all around,
With an enticing sound.
It causes me to slow,
To be lured by its flow;
Temptation is so great,
For teasing with its bate.
So I must run the race,
For staying in God's grace;
Stay one step ahead,
Spiritually fed.
I have the right to choose,
So faith I will not loose;
Jesus gives me the strength,
Enduring any length.
So you just can not win,
Being enticed by sin;
For just some joy today,
Throws eternity away
